What this site keeps, and why

This is a personal portfolio. It measures how it is used so I can improve it and reply to people who want to talk. Nothing is sold or shared.

An anonymous visitor id

A cookie (pv_id) with a random id, kept 90 days. It lets the site agent remember your conversation when you come back. It is not linked to your name unless you give one.

How the site is used

Pages viewed, time on page, scroll depth, device type, browser language, the site you came from and the tag on the link you used. Questions asked to the agent and job descriptions pasted into “Match a job” are stored so I can see what visitors look for.

Approximate location and network

Country and city, derived from your IP address by the hosting provider. When the network belongs to a company, its name may be recorded; home and mobile internet providers are never kept. The IP address itself is not stored.

Your email, only if you send it

If you use the contact form, your email, name, company and note are stored and sent to me by email. They are used only to reply to you. No newsletter, no third parties.

Services involved

Vercel (hosting and traffic analytics), Upstash (database), Groq (runs the agent; receives your messages, not your identity), Resend (delivers my notification emails).

Your rights

Clear your cookies and the site forgets you. To have stored data deleted or to ask what is kept, write to elabidimohamedamine@gmail.com. I answer within a week.
